MEA Seeks to Recall Governor Snyder
The MEA is rallying its members to sign and circulate petitions to remove Gov. Snyder from office for 'attacking education' and the 'middle class'. What Governor Snyder did was to threaten the union's stranglehold on educational reform and its leaching of funds that should be benefitting students to advance its own politics. The MEA stands against efforts to fix our declining educational system. The MEA does not represent the best interest of our children. It acts to protect its own power and the interests of its members, period. The MEA is the biggest reason more money than ever is being poured into public education with less and less to show for it. Many good teachers who see the MEA for what it is are caught in a web of cross purposes and fear.
